Conversion and Restoration of a listed Bungalow of the 50s in Berlin-Dahlem

The bungalow is located in a listed residential complex from the 50s, which is arranged in a ring around a park in Berlin Dahlem.

For a family of four, the heavily modified bungalow was renovated according to historical standards and the living area was extended by 100 m2. The garage was converted into a library and the cellar was expanded.

By using contemporary built-in furniture, the original spatial situation was restored and adapted to the housing needs of a young family.

In the dining area, a new window opening in the west facade was cut to allow the view of the park.

In the garden, above a verge of terrain, a swimming pool has been created, from which you can look down into the park.
