The two-family residential building was built in a settlement dating back to the 1950s. The heating distribution station on the property had to be preserved and integrated into the building. The new residential building encloses the existing buildings and combines them into a single unit.
The interior concept provides for a generous and open "living space" with attached retreat areas. Light falls from several directions into the expansive living space. As if the building were cut open, the interior continues in the outer space and finds there only its spatial limit.
